Daniela Vandone
Daniela Vandone is full professor of Banking and Finance and dean of the Milano School of Management at the University of Milan. Since 2018 she is member of the Financial Services User Group at the European Commission, directorate-general for Financial stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA).
She holds a PhD in Financial Markets and Intermediaries at the Catholic University of Milan and a MSc in International Banking and Financial Studies at the University of Southampton. She has been visiting researcher at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
She published widely in books and peer-reviewed international journals and she also coordinated research groups with public and private grants. She is referee for several international journals. Her research interests are in economics of financial markets and intermediaries, with a focus on microeconomics of financial intermediaries, financial regulation at a European level, financial investments and risk management, digital innovation in finance.
